Technorati says I'm linking to myself

About two weeks ago, Technorati found the underlying domain that this Typepad blog sits on and decided that it was linking to this domain...  That's annoying.  So every post of mine has one Technorati link back to it... from my own blog mirrored at Typepad.  Ugh.

I am considering mapping a domain to typepad - similar to what you do with your blog. I tried Wordpress and made a futile attempt at installing Movable Type and determined that my html and css skills are pathetic. However, I still want to have my own domain (not .typepad.com). Do you have any advice so I can avoid some of the issues you've been having?

It's not just me then!!! I have an open ticket at technorati asking them to look into this same problem for my blog. I've also now got two listings (one for my root domain and one for an extended url) with different link counts for each and, even more annoying, my posts aren't updating for the url that has more technorati links. And they're the same blog powering the exact same feed. Ugh. What's going on over there at technorati??? G
