A grainy image snapped with a camera phone on the subway two weeks ago resulted in the arrest of an East Village man Wednesday, police said.
Daniel Hoyt, 43, was arrested for an alleged Aug. 19 incident in which he sat across a 22-year-old woman on a northbound R train at Cortland Street and exposed his private area, police said. After the victim snapped the small photograph, police said, she filed a complaint. The photo was then widely publicized on blogs and newspapers. This week, she identified the suspect from a lineup.
Hoyt was charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor
